  1. I heard Michael Ondaajte talk to Elaine Charles on her radio show 'The Book report'/also can hear the recording on bookreportradio.com, and I found out that he has written 13 poetry books, wow! and of course he wrote 'The English Patient'. I loved the movie of that book.
The Cats Table is actually the dining table that is situated furtherest away from the ships captain and sometimes near the kitchen and that's were the least important people sit.
The story is about a young boy aboard a ship, the enjoyable mischief he gets up to and the interesting people he gets to meet.
The phrase in his book "Who realizes how contented the ferrel children are" made me realize how much fun you can have as a kid without worrying about materialism or being constrained by rules enforced by an adult.
I'm totally going to enjoy this book as I love adventure, interesting people and I'm naughty and young at heart.
